Oman Regional Airports

This project required complete MEP design for four regional airports to be constructed in different locations within Oman.

Key features are that some of the sites are in remote locations and the MEP design solutions selected were geared around this fact. The four airports share a common MEP design as far as possible, with a mix-and-match approach to the different buildings required to suit the physical layout of each site.

The MEP contribution was to deliver a simple, reliable, and efficient design, implementing best practice in terms of energy-efficient design solutions with equipment selections and specifications focused on energy efficiency, reliability, and maintainability to reduce running costs, carbon emissions,  maximising equipment availability at all times.

Black & White was able to meet the client’s tight project timescales for the MEP design, adopting one design that fits all four sites.
