Yasmeen Rotana Hotel

We delivered full MEP design, vertical transportation, and audio-visual consultancy services for this 5-star Rotana Hotel in Damascus.

The project is a first-of-its-kind in Syria, having six levels of basement; three of which are car park levels and the rest consisting of back-of-house kitchens, laundries, ballroom, meeting rooms, and offices, resulting in the main focus of plant location, all being below ground. This, coupled with the diverse annual climate conditions at 600m above sea-level, resulted in producing a full thermal model and sun path analysis of the building using a modelling software to ensure accurate diversified building loads were calculated.
