Slough Data Centre

This project included an 8 MW new build extension to an existing data centre to the west of London. A concurrently maintainable design solution was delivered within a confined site adjacent to a live facility within a challenging program for a leading UK colocation provider. The building incorporated an isolated redundant UPS topology, new MV services, and high efficiency air cooled chillers, delivering a market leading sub 1.25 PUE.

The design has been taken from Stage 3 to Stage 4C, included extensive CFD modelling, and involved a detailed review of the infrastructure systems to allow integration to the existing primary infrastructure.
