Project WREN, Centre for Scientific Excellence, will create a single location of expertise in formulation, analytical science and product innovation.
The 20,550m² facility will comprise some 15,000m² of new build Laboratory and Pilot Plant developmental space, as well as an Energy Centre, staff restaurant, new site security building, the renovation and refurbishment of existing facilities to accommodate a new main reception and a suite of meeting facilities.
The project is split into 5 zones as follows:
The overall project cost is in the region of £105M and the overall MEP cost is in the order of £23M.
B&W were appointed to provide Stage 4B and 4C co-ordinated working drawings in Revit to meet the project BIM deliverables.
