B&W provided energy modelling for this mixed use development which comprises residential apartments, public spaces and offices.
B&W undertook a climatic study, sunpath analysis and produced a concept energy report within six months of being introduced to the project, realising significant energy savings as well as more efficient smaller plant/space requirements. Achievements of changes following analysis of original design included:
- Cooling requirements reduced by 50%
- Solar gain reduced by 35%
- Conduction gains reduced by 32%
- CO2 saving 6,140 tonnes per annum
