The Lollard Street project is a 7,500m² development on the Ethelred housing estate. It provides affordable housing, new green spaces and a nursery facility for Lambeth Council, as a condition for granting planning permission for the redevelopment of The Shell Centre at Waterloo by Braeburn Estates Partnership (JV between Canary Wharf Group Plc and Qatari Diar).
The new development will consist of four 4-storey apartment blocks (A, B, C, D), one 16-storey apartment block (E), one 7-storey apartment block (F), 15 townhouses, a nursery and an energy centre.
Black & White were appointed to provide design review and verification services and co-ordinated working drawings.
