Full MEP & AV/IT concept design for a 4-star hotel which will be operated by Hilton. The development is part of a large mixed-use project which in addition to the hotel includes residences, offices, retail/shopping centre. The floor area is approximately 624,000 sq ft, with 305 guestrooms.
The project utilizes a whole building approach to sustainability incorporating the techniques of sustainable rating systems such as LEED, BREEAM and ESTIDAMA. An investigation into the optimal combination of passive strategies has reduced of the proposed design peak coincidental cooling demand by 30-35% over the standard ‘typical’ design.
