The project is located in Shams on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi and consists of two mirrored quarter circular tower buildings on adjacent plots containing retail, offices and serviced hotel apartment components.
A retail element of shell and core spaces occupies the ground level of the podium of each tower whilst the upper six podium levels contain shell and core office space. Serviced apartments accommodate the fourteen storeys of each tower.
Leisure facilities including pool and gym are located on level 21 of each tower while five basement levels provide car parking space.
In addition to MEP services, where systems were arranged and zoned to best serve the metering strategies for the multi-use facilities of the building, our scope included Vertical Transportation and ELV system design. The design concept for the apartments was to provide high tech home automation including AV control and automation over internal wi-fi within each apartment.
