03/11/2019

Black & White Engineering is proud to have been named as finalists in the Middle East MEP Awards 2019. We have been shortlisted for a total of 6 awards.

These include:

  • MEP Consultancy of the Year: Black & White Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineer of the Year: Aurore Knight
  • Electrical Engineer of the Year: Errol Ruddock
  • Young Engineer of the Year: Damien Ricq
  • Project Manager of the Year: Jonathan Mitchell
  • Retrofit Project of the Year: Al Karamah School

This year, the judges have found many entries demonstrated high standards in terms of design and construction, as well as the types of technologies and systems used in their projects. “It was not difficult to select a winner in some categories due to outstanding entries which demonstrated best MEP practices and high level of innovation” commented one of the judges. “However, in the other categories, the competition was higher where many nominees demonstrated similar standards. This indicates the market growth and the strive of many companies towards improved efficiency, profitability, and performance” he added.

“We are proudly considered as the region’s leading MEP consultancy specialising in the delivery of complex engineering design solutions. We are a company that puts growth for the enhancement of the company and our people ahead of short-term profit” says Mick Cairns, CEO. “We remain undeterred in our founding belief that striving for excellence in engineering will succeed over short term profit. I am very proud of our team and their accomplishments.”

These awards seek to recognise and reward individual excellence, corporate prowess and project success. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony taking place at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah later this month.
