Certified Success as B&W become the first design consultant in the UK to have two Autodesk® Revit® MEP:2015 Certified Professional within their team

Congratulations to Chris Nisbet from our mechanical engineering team in our Newcastle office, on achieving Autodesk® Revit® MEP:2015 Certified Professional Status.

As the 10th person in the UK to achieve this, Chris joins his colleague Karl in a very elite community of individuals who share this mark of distinction.

This bolster’s B&W’s BIM capability achieving certified professionals from both the electrical and mechanical disciplines and completes a key milestone within B&W’s long term BIM implementation strategy which looks to demonstrate all aspects of our BIM capability through certified measures.

Both Karl and Chris play key roles in B&W’s global Revit Training Programme and their certification provides the benchmark aptitude to be delivered to all of our technical staff.  We are extremely proud of their achievements and also to have two of the first 10 people in the UK to earn this distinction within our engineering team.

Karl has joined a very elite community of electrical engineering professionals  with just 7 people in the UK achieving this mark of distinction.

The Autodesk Certified professional (ACP) programme is the most recognised measure of Revit ability throughout the industry. The recent introduction of RevitMEP onto the ACP is considered by many in the industry to be the most onerous assessment.  The exam assesses professional users’ advanced knowledge of the tools, features, and common tasks of Autodesk Revit MEP 2015. By earning this designation Karl has demonstrated advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing modelling.
